Character Diaries: Alvaj - Season 1: Entry 026

Updated: Jul 25, 2020

The Cycle of Yagra, 37th cycle of the Month of the Great Sea, 1932 years after Creation / Monday, 16th of February 6099

I saw her ghost again, this time I was less afraid. She didn’t say anything, just watched me, waiting for something. I thought maybe she was waiting for me to say something so I tried calling out to her. It didn’t change anything. She just stood there waiting.

I didn’t end up falling asleep though. So today I came to work absolutely exhausted, two nights in a row with very little sleep. The Commander asked if everything was okay and I lied and told her that I was up all night for two nights trying to solve a problem with my finances. She seemed to buy it, after all, I’ve been trained how to lie. Its part of being an agent.

I better get good sleep tonight, or I’m going to have to move out. I can’t have my sister’s ghost affecting me anymore. If she’s just going to watch me, and doesn’t have anything to say, then I don’t need to see her anymore.
